The City of Port Townsend hosted a preconstruction meeting on Thursday, December 21st with approximately 25 attendees. There were representatives from Interwest Construction Inc. (the contractor for the project), the Jefferson County PUD, East Jefferson Fire Rescue, CenturyLink, Wave, Jefferson Transit, Port Townsend Police Department, City of Port Townsend Parks and Rec, and City Hall.

- Traffic Control
- Environmental Considerations
- General Construction Discussion
- Project Contracts
The importance of the schedule and continued access to downtown businesses were discussed. It is also the contractors goal to provide two way traffic throughout the project.
